Making way for the album..

Because the album is on it's way, it's probably time to update ye ol' myspace page! In fact, i think we probably need a website, wish we knew someone savvy (and kind!!) enough to make one for us. Anyways I always loved this look the most, so colourful and Primary!

I own a See By Chloe Silk Dress!!! Finally, my dreams are realised :) This morning i picked up my new SEE BY CHLOE dress from the postoffice- It came from NZ. Anyways i realise in the car driving to work that it looks tiny! I slipped it on before training at lunchtime, and indeed, it's tight across the bust and splits my boobs into a blobbish mess. Shit.

yeeeeuuuullch!

But- I decided that this dress is amazing, i MUST try to make it work before it goes on ebay, even if it just comes down to losing some weight. This dress can be an extra incentive, as it is SO london w/ jeans or tights and sandals. Better yet occurs to me that wearing it open looks ten times cooler anyways! and it totally matches all the House of Harlow jewlery that arrived today!

So i have the feather art deco inspired necklace, Large sunburst pendant + Gold medallion. I think the Gold Medallion is a bit too yellow, and reminds me of Sportsgirl. On Nicole Ritchie it looks so huge cos she is so tiny, but i think unless im wearing precisely the right thing it's going to get lost in the outfit.

Said piece i am contemplating selling. hmm. Should i think this through first, originally it was the first one i wanted! Kinda wish instead of feather necklace, i got the same thing in black to match the sunburst. Or would that be too much?

Tinky just popped up. She is purring like a tractor and in the mood for some serious headbutting for affection action. What a cuttieee patoootie!!!

It's 12:29AM and i better go to bed. I feel like watching more on journeyman tv channel on youtube, Im almost compelled to look but must snooze. If i stayed at Nick's we would be welll and truly fast asleep on the couch. Saw a doco on Detroit last night about the demise of the car industry, and thus the city is the creepiest ghosttown of all time. It's vacant lots, derelect buildings, and zero traffic or people. Quite sad really.

Things Ive just made.

Ive got frustration with my sewing machine- I wish i invested in something better - it keeps snagging and being inconsistent. But more importantl I wish i could be bothered taking the time to learn some patterns. Im complacent every time i start something, and give up the second i think it's getting a bit meh.

Anyways, just finished off some newbie tops.. I bought this cheap as chips red stretch cotton with hearts from Spotlight. (very old school Marc Jacobs!) It ties up with a bow at the top, but i didn't think that through well enough, as it pulls the collar down when you go to tie it! I think i spent an hour just trying to get it presentable. Next time i will make the bow seperately, and then sew it on!

This is potentially the brightest fabric on the planet! In the photo it's only a fraction of it's true colour.. very billowy. Perhaps a bit preggie!
The Collar is done. I love the idea of it (shouldnt have ironed it down though as it's lost it's frillyness) Realised as soon as i went to photograph it, i realised i no longer have ten million plain black high neck jumpers. Everything is so flippin loud. So, i thought id go for floral overload... that's a t shirt i made recently from a MOOMOO !!..

i do have a white round neck shirt, thats a bit ruffly. It's a bit LOVER. Perhaps it will work with the collar.
I have a stack of things I still need to make, and no shortage of fabric. God knows where Im going to put all of this when I work into Nick's. Need to tidy up!

Earlier today i went for a ride to Brighton on the beach, and i bought these awesome jeans. It was SO hard to photograph them. They are a bit boyfriend, bit loose with tight rolled up ends, with cute pleats at the top.
Whilst i was there i went to mecca cosmetica and spent ages with the chick trying to find a good makeup. She was convinced she had used one that was perfect, but I have a feeling Ive had the same foundation (Prescriptives with the silver lid) in Gold and it was a disaster. I left without buying anything just to be safe because i seem to waste a large percentage of my wage on foundations in the wrong shade!!

Not sure? ... fuckkkken i look OLD, even with the fresh makeup!!!..

Then i went for a ride along the biketrack from brighton back to Elst. jeez that's a nice track. Wish i could ride it to work!!

Chanel Booties

I just saw these booties on Sea of Shoes... they are everything i could ever dream of in a pair of shoes and more. They are literally my DREAM BOOTIE!!!! I would wear them all day every day (actually id probably be too scared to take them out of the cupboard).
She is one lucky lady!!!

I will stop my blog envy now and go and buy some makeup at chaddy!!

me being a total spazdick drunk all over nick in the courtyard. He reminded me i was making a big deal to the table about how unattractive Julian Morrow's wife is. DAMN. i don't feel passionately about it, Im so embarrassing!! So this is $190 worth of alcohol later (had to switch to Little Creatures when they ran out of tap Coopers) Ouch.

Jenna bought me some professional nailpolishes from her beauty school... they were $4 each so i bought a whole stack, including the purplish colour in the pic. Pretty cool!

Bit miffed, just drove home and saw my nana in the street. She is still mad at me, kind of got a glare as she looked away and kept walking. Yeesh.

Pamela Love

Im so hungover. I went and saw SC's at Old Bar last night with Jeremy on drums. Flippin awesome, but i got pulled up for the last song, and was SO smashed i was hitting mic/rims instead of the skins. *Shudder*. I thought i would let loose cos i didnt have to play, and boy did i do that! Paul just says to me now "you know how i know that you were drunk, you were sitting on the chair, slowly tilting until suddenly you were horizontal on the floor. I also managed to fall out of my seat in the Maxi Taxi coming home. I can't wait until tomorrow so i can drop the post pissup anxiety!! It seems to get worse each time i drink.

As a result my hangover today was like someone took my brain out of my head, kicked it around, popped it back in all bruised- i swear i could feel it moving around in my skull this morning. Nick and i drove to maccas, and i ate TWO sausage mcmuffins. THAT's how hungover i am/was!

So, i have been online ALL day + watching Louis Therouxs i havnt seen. We've just downloaded the one set in a Paedophile clinic in the States, very excited to see it. I also discovered PAMELA LOVE jewelery whilst looking at Sea Of Shoes Blog (my god that girl lives my fashion DREAM) and i am particularly fond of these pieces... the Talon in particular!!

Wow, she looks SO beyond stylish all the time!!! How is the amazing maxi dress, and i would kill to own the leather jacket.. Chanel?

I saw these amazing ray bans recently in a magazine, they were really oversized and i loved them. I didnt write the name down so when looking for them on the Ray Ban website I found an awesome novelty program. You can test their Sunnies out!



Unfortunately these ones make me think of the Wire Ditas i lost over Christmas. I still havn't found my black Karen Walker Super Strengths. I was hoping either pair would appear in the car, but clearly ive been careless somewhere :(

Caravans

Last night LPs was watching a doco about world economics with his eyes closed.. cute.
Today was possibly the coldest i have ever been!!! I went on a Caravan shoot in Rosebud/ Sorrento and we shot overlay of a Jayco caravan for a competition. I swear, the cameraman was purple! (i would say, corpse-ish!) My favourite part was the rep of the caravan company, who was flown down from brisbane for the day... but he didnt actually DO anything, and had ZERO interest in caravans. "So what are the features we need to hilight?"

.. "um, i don't actually know.."

It was BITTERLY cold, the wind off the water was arctic, but luckily the sky was blue! (ish) I HAVE to start a diet this week, i am looking grotesque- my legs are like big fat triangles!!! I have chosen some outfits for inspiration.

Karen Walker from her current collection... left hand side. That white blouse + high cut jeans with the WHITE BOOTS!!! Yowzer. Mostly i think it's the white blouse I love. i would probably wear it with skinny dark jeans, but not quite as high cut.

And this next one is absolutely adorable and Im shocked i havnt already been in the city myer trying to find it. The watermelon number on the right... the frills, the length, the boots. It screams, lose a few kegs and buy me please!!!

Very excited, i am going to see SCs play with Jeremy on drums tonight! Have to admit im a little scared to leave the house again cos it feels like my body temp is in the negative!!!! Am i going to get the swine yet?..
